Responsibilities:
• You will join our team working closely with seasoned engineers and mentors who will provide guidance for implementing leading‑edge technologies
• Under this guidance, provide vision, leadership, and direction in developing CACI strategic initiatives to address emerging photonics needs
• Foster an entrepreneurial culture by leading and developing a team grounded in strong work ethic, dedication, and intellectual curiosity
• Lead and support equipment and facilities expansion
• Implement process‑capability monitoring and improvement, including use of statistical process control
• Provide direction in problem solving, product or process characterization, process‑efficiency improvements, and continuous‑improvement activities
• Drive optimization of products for improved manufacturability, cycle time, and cost reductions
• Work with design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is incorporated into future products and supports successful manufacturing readiness review
• Work with engineering to negotiate product specifications and print acceptance criteria
• Travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as necessary (<10% travel)
• Perform other duties as required
