About the RoleEstablished in 1990, Gill Opticians has proudly become Leigh’s leading independent optical practice, with a reputation for exceptional care, professional expertise, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.
We’re now looking for an experienced Optical Assistant to join our team — someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding eyecare and confident in supporting patients throughout their journey with us.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, informative, and empathetic service to all patients
- Assist with dispensing, frame selection, and front-of-house duties
- Work as part of a close-knit team focused on high standards and personal service
- Contribute ideas to help us continually improve and innovate
What We’re Looking For
- Previous optical experience is essential
- Excellent communication and people skills
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in eyecare
- Availability for 3–4 days per week, including Saturdays
