Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Manager - Operations Innovation & Solutions (OIS) position is responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining scalable supply chain solutions that improve operational efficiency, financial performance, and resources to support patient care. The position will manage a team of supply chain operations professionals skilled in analysis, project management, and communication. The incumbent will be proficient with relevant aspects of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Point of Use (POU) system, and appropriate statistical analysis applications. The OIS team will directly support Supply Chain Operations within the medical centers and non-acute care facilities with daily production and strategic initiatives, including Procure to Pay (P2P), Distribution Channel optimization, Inventory Management, and Clinical Support Services. The OIS Manager will advance adoption of LEAN Six Sigma methodologies across Supply Chain Operations in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Designs tools and analytics to improve daily production support within Supply Chain Operations. Manages the process by identifying, assisting and coordinating innovative solutions across HonorHealth Supply Chain Operations. Owns and manages the advance and adoption of LEAN Six Sigma methods within Operations.
  • Partners with all Supply Chain Departments (Contracting, Operations, Informatics, Support Services) to improve operational efficiency, process control, and hand-offs.
  • Supports strategic projects across Procure to Pay, Distribution, Clinical Support Services, HTM Biomed, and Facilities Management.
  • Leads and mentors staff. Interviews, selects, hires, and coaches staff. Develops team skill sets, orients/trains, and provides direction to work teams.
  • Implements work plans for timely completion of system projects and details the variety of tasks required for implementation/enhancement of current processing. Leads the gathering of information, completion and review of file build, and any other activities required to tailor the system to the special requirements of the user. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain or related field Required

Experience
5 years supply chain experience Required
