Title: Subscription Finance Manager II

Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Summary

The Subscription Finance Manager will support the billing and finance operations of NCR's growing Subscription (aaS) business. This role is critical to the success of NCR's transition to more effective processes, systems, and tools. The ideal candidate has strong communication and relationship management skills to operate within a global environment and technical skills to create efficiencies within and beyond our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess complex, global customer agreements for proper billing and revenue treatment.
  • Consult internally to minimize the adverse impact of custom and non-standard deals.
  • Manage internal and external escalations.
  • Compare contractual documents to quote/order records for accuracy; resolve discrepancies.
  • Resolve errors in submitting orders and invoices through various systems (including root cause resolution).
  • Drive accurate and on time billing, entitlement, and revenue recognition by cross-organizational teams.
  • Bill one time, recurring, and usage fees in multiple billing systems, both manually and with automation.
  • Advise and approve monthly accruals.
  • Meet deadlines at month-end and throughout the month (e.g. invoicing and reporting).
  • Establish and enforce controls to monitor recurring billing.
  • Coordinate with international colleagues to support foreign countries and languages.
  • Manage multiple shared mailboxes.
  • Support AR and disputes teams by providing clarification and researching.
  • Train NCR global teams to support efficient, effective, and controlled operations.
  • Provide continuous feedback to improve/enhance existing processes.
  • Participate in company and department initiatives and projects by sharing requirements, testing, training, etc.
  • Create relevant reporting and analysis to drive improvements.
  • Recommend and create appropriate automation (with IT and other teams) that aids billing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage growing global team.



Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related Business or Technical discipline
  • Working knowledge of advanced financial administration principles
  • Demonstrated experience with financial systems and data query tools
  • Experience working with subscription/recurring billing
  • Experience with cross organizational projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills



Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other specialized master's degree
  • Advanced SQL knowledge
  • Tableau Desktop/Server or Power BI basics
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
