SR DIRECTOR, ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT - REMOTE US

Reporting to the SVP and General Counsel, you will lead the company's global risk management program. You will effectively partner with Allegion's business units and functions to drive Allegion's risk management strategy. You can work remotely is the U.S. with regular travel to our corporate offices in Indianapolis, IN.

What You Will Do

  • Develop Enterprise Risk Management tools and programs, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks
  • Create strategies that drive our organizational Risk Management program
  • Act as a change agent and process integrator to continuously improve Allegion's enterprise risk management program
  • Plan and manage execution of the enterprise risk assessment processes to identify, assess, and monitor enterprise risks
  • Coordinate risk assessment and risk management activities with other second line functions (including Information Security, Compliance, etc.) to optimize risk management initiatives
  • Support the facilitation of risk appetite discussions and development of repeatable analytical solutions to monitor risks
  • Limit liability or exposure through the implementation of risk reduction strategies or by insuring the organization against loss
  • Implement loss prevention strategies meant to protect the organization's assets
  • Work with each principal risk owner to develop appropriate risk treatment plans across functions or business units
  • Develop and/or implement solutions to analyze and report on risk trends and insights
  • Develop and deliver risk awareness training to risk owners
  • Ensure the organization's risk management policies and initiatives are in compliance with applicable regulations and aligned with organizational objectives
  • Partner with the business to identify gaps and develop risk mitigation strategies and proposals for risk remediation



What You Need to Succeed

  • A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in finance, business, accounting, or related area is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in risk management and insurance is required
  • Strong depth of knowledge of risk management, including insurance and claims process
  • Experience managing large deductible insurance programs, including the importance of working closely with finance and actuarial professionals on accounting reserves for retained losses
  • Strategic mindset and viewed as a senior adviser and business partner to management
  • A recognized risk management and insurance professional designation such as ARM, CPCU, and CRM and/or a J.D or M.B.A. is preferred
  • Experience with enterprise risk management in a manufacturing environment and non-US operating environments is preferred
  • Experience with and a working knowledge of risk management information systems is preferred

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • Base Salary Range: $124,100 - $230,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
  • Equity Eligible: Yes
