Your Career

Our dynamite Supply Chain & Operations Team is looking for an individual with good business acumen and experience in the JDM/ODM supply chain. In this position, you will have responsibility for managing the supply chain operations for SD-WAN products built by our contract manufacturer, as well as our ODM/JDM partners. In this position you will lead initiatives that ensure component continuity of supply, reduce product risk, maintain product at company quality standards and ensure no stock outs. As the ODM SBM, other responsibilities include maintaining supplier relationships and the development and execution of short and long term strategies ensure continuity of supply and competitive cost. In this position, you will report to the Dir, Supply Chain Materials and ODM within Operations, Supply Chain group. 

Your Impact and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for JDM/ODM supplier partnerships at a strategic level to create competitive advantage for the company.

  • Manage Scorecards and Conduct Quarterly Supplier Business Reviews with JDM/ODM partners

  • Oversee the execution and supply chain operations of the ODM product into the EMS environment as final product for order fulfillment.

  • Product availability: Manage product metrics that minimizes stock outs and allows upside through supply chain flexibility and risk assessment and mitigation.

  • Product cost negotiations: Negotiate product costs, Mitigate additional costs, purchase price variances 

  • Inventory management. Resolve material shortages through strategic supply chain planning. Manage on hand inventory meeting a corporate inventory turns target. Mitigate excess and obsolete inventory.

  • Production planning: Assist to execute a production plan based on a forecast, materials availability, production capacity, as well as assist in issues that impact the plan and backlog commitments.

  • EMS performance: Provide input to quarterly performance surveys to identify accomplishments and areas to improve. Participate or lead initiatives to improve manufacturer’s service level and capabilities that align with company demands.

  • Reporting: Provide metrics on performance, execution to commit, on time delivery, materials availability, and status of build plans, inventory liabilities and manufacturing operations data.

  • Document Control: Participate in the implementation of change orders, change order impact analysis, effective dates.

  • Develop and manage strategic ODM partnerships at a senior and working level to create competitive advantage and world class supply chain

  • Establish contractual terms SOW, SLA and/or procurement programs (SMI/VMI) that provide a strategic advantage and result in a lower total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience plus 7+ years supply chain/program management experience

  • Experience working in related environment with a proven track record of driving cost out of the supply chain

  • Demonstrated experience working with Manufacturers and global cross functional teams

  • Management of supply chain in an outsourced manufacturing environment

  • Business process and/or application configuration knowledge with supply chain and costing models

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary (includes on-target earnings = base + on target incentives for sales roles) is expected to be between $135,100/yr to $198,700/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
