ClickUp is looking for a procurement and strategic sourcing professional  to help us build and scale our procurement sourcing functions. Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller, this newly created role will have responsibilities that span across the procurement and sourcing function. ClickUp is looking for a professional that wants to build the entire global procurement and sourcing  infrastructure to meet the demands of the incredible scale the Company is projecting.

The Role:

  • Formalize our procurement and sourcing process. Set strategy, define processes, and build trust-based relationships with our functional leaders to optimize cost, terms, and other benefits in vendor contracts
  • Build communication and rollout plans for new process and systems to ensure user adoption and success
  • Implement enterprise grade procurement system, including Supplier portal, operations, product catalog, and payments (v-card and global payments functionality)
  • Own and implement travel and employee credit card program
  • Negotiate new and renewal agreements based on informed quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Partner with Legal and Security departments during the procurement process to ensure business requirements are met and information is gathered efficiently
  • Identify creative ways to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities including re-working our current purchasing flow
  • Work alongside the FP&A team to ensure purchasers are adhering to budget
  • Manage Coupa, our current procurement software, and ensure we’re maximizing its full potential
  • Work with FP&A, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Operations, and other partners to continuously improve processes, with an eye toward efficiency, automation, user experience and appropriate controls
  • Identify vendor redundancies with an aim to consolidate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in an area of corporate management relative to spend and/or contracts (e.g., finance/FP&A, procurement, legal operations, etc.)
  • Significant experience in managing complex negotiations and contract management
  • Credible, hands-on, reliable leader
  • Experience identifying and capturing cost savings and operational improvement opportunities
  • Cross-functional relationship management experience
  • Experience with a Purchase Order (PO) and/or Contract Lifecycle Management system preferred (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Apttus, Conga, or the like)
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Sourcing, Vendor Management, and other Procurement teams to deliver strong strategic procurement experience for key business partners across a broad spectrum of business areas/spend categories
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Collaborate well with other members of the Accounting team and other departments
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with passion for taking ownership
  • Ability to work independently, with little direction
  • Motivation for excellence and exceeding expectations
  • Passionate about teamwork with an optimistic outlook
