Position Overview: 

A Post Closer is responsible for reviewing closing documents to ensure everything was properly executed. Follow up and request/review all loan documents. Quality assurance on closed loans. Record executed closing documents. Acquire needed payments (county taxes, water bill, etc.) from third parties related to closed transactions.

Post Closer Responsibilities:

• Scans all executed title and loan documents into software and sends the Lender copies of documents required for funding the loan.
• Sends all original loan documents (except for those documents required to be recorded) to the Lender.
• Sends the recorded documents to the designated county for recording via overnight mail or electronic recording after disbursement of the loan.
• Scans and uploads all recorded documents into software after original recorded documents are received from the County after recording.
• Prepares and sends final title policy and the original recorded mortgage to the Lender via overnight mail.
• Handles Post Closing issues including but not limited to releasing of escrows, sending additional documents, etc.
• Other duties as assigned. 

Post Closer Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• At least 1-2 years of working in the title, real estate, or mortgage industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with relevant title applications.
• Project management skills and high attention to detail.
• The flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs.
