Overview:
The Manager - Regional Throughput HUB is responsible for the day-to-day operations associated with the transfer center, patient placement and nursing staff deployment for the five east region Mercy facilities. The work will focus on optimization of placement and deployment by developing, implementing, and monitoring safe, efficient processes. This will include standardized work and efficient workflows to improve throughput and reduce patient wait times. This position will interact with each facility's senior leadership, executive directors of nursing and managers of nursing units.
Successful qualities include time management skills, excellent communication skills, ability to lead teams through change, ability to interact with all levels of the organizations, ability to identify process improvement steps to build continuous improvement opportunities.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Three years of clinical or previous leadership experience required
- Preferred Experience: Three years of clinical leadership experience
- Other
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead teams with a variety of skills
- Must possess time management and organizational skills
- Must be able to fully uphold all principles of confidentiality and patient care
- Must have an analytical mind, an eye for detail, and the ability to solve problems creatively
