Position reports to a Head of Product, Sustainability and interfaces with the VB Operations team. Hank's Head of VB Operations is responsible for managing Hank VB teams and developing strategies including: Hiring engineering staff, international resource management, advancing technical standards, reviewing and managing budgets, and technical onboarding review

Skills Learned

• High-growth task management including hiring, budgeting and resource allocation for a global team
• Merging real-world technical resources to software applications
• Establishing a new category of building technology internationally
• Mass integration strategies for future commercial building technologies

Expectations

• Management of VB Operations team budget and resource allocation internationally
• Work with recruiting and Head of Product to establish new Hank engineering teams internationally
• Coordinate with Head of Product and Sales team on forecasting onboarding schedule and associated resource management
• Coordinate with Project Engineering and Management leaders on budgets and timelines
• Develop roadmap for Hank onboarding technical documentation
• Develop new employee training plan and associated documentation
• High-level review and technical feedback on specific building onboarding tasks
• Coordinate with development team to establish optimization toolsets and roadmaps
• Roadmap future technologies to integrate to the Hank platform

Qualifications

• +8-years experience technical background in HVAC Design
• +4-years managing technical teams, timelines and resources
• Advanced understanding of HVAC equipment Sequence of Operation (SOO)
• Advanced understanding of building automation operation and architecture
• Proficient in resource budgeting and reporting
• Basic understanding of machine-learning
• Bachelors Degree Mechanical Engineering

PE Mechanical Engineering preferred
