Global Indirect Sourcing Manager:

The Global Indirect Sourcing Manager will provide strategic thought leadership, influence, and hands on engagement across all regions to lead the procurement / supply management of indirect materials and services that have a global reach (Information Technology, Human Resources, Telecom, Travel, and related Services). Reporting to the Vice President, Real Estate and Global Services, he/she directs organizational sourcing strategies and programs meant to identify, evaluate, and maintain a value-add supplier network.

What You Will Do:

  • Accountability for indirect material & service spend (~$200M) across Allegion
  • Facilitate team of Category Managers to develop category playbooks, define action plans, and drive a cadence of execution to deliver value-add savings for addressable spend.
  • Lead team to develop strategic business relationship with key supplier partners aimed at being the customer of choice, opening multi-year productivity project pipelines and aligning supplier partner investments and resources to support the Allegion business strategy
  • Oversees development of sourcing strategies to identify vendors that meet the organization's quality, cost, or service requirements.
  • Collaborate with People Leaders under the direction of the Vice President, Real Estate & Global Services in development of policies and practices for evaluating products, goods, or services prior to purchase, and ensures standards are continuously met after purchase
  • Negotiates contracts and agreements and ensures compliance with internal or external regulatory requirements and social responsibility initiatives
  • Identifies trends in organizational purchasing and identifies opportunities for cost reduction through purchase consolidation and other sourcing methodologies
  • Engage with internal business partners to understand their business objectives and challenges, build mutual understanding of current spend and key supplier relationships; and develop a Service Level Agreement (SLA) defining priorities, expectations, and action plans to maximize the value of each dollar spent by the business partner
  • Acts as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, maintaining relationships and ensuring satisfaction in supplier performance
  • Identify and implement procurement processes and technology to advance efficiencies across the team. Advocate process standardization efforts globally to ensure accurate and actionable reporting
  • Provide exceptional leadership of people. Recruit, develop and retain top talent. Build a culture of accountability and engagement to create a high-performing team
  • Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risks, inclusive of financial, capacity, quality, and compliance



What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply-Chain, or related field; MBA is preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • 5+ years' experience of progressively increasing responsibility in sourcing and supply chain in a global diversified environment
  • Demonstrated competence in developing supplier relationships, negotiating skills, contract management and defining sourcing strategies within indirect categories
  • Deep global knowledge of suppliers, industry trends, emerging markets, technology, geopolitical changes
  • Excellent industry, business and financial acumen especially as related to supply chain and sourcing
  • Deep knowledge in compliance and standards relating to supply chain and global commerce
  • Skilled in influencing in a collaborative environment, negotiation, and problem resolution
  • Effective communication skills to translate strategy to action for broad employee groups across the organization
  • Proven experience leading and coaching to improve individual and team performance
  • Uncompromised integrity, business ethics and a drive to do what is right & best for the business
  • Travel required (10-25%)
