As the Americas Regional Marketing Events Manager, you will drive to manage events, plan, organize, and ensure delivery of regional events that are in-line with Acronis growth strategy, regional marketing strategy, and supports the company to meet the revenue goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Align to regional strategy and make recommendations to Regional Director
  • Manage all aspects of the online or offline event, including staffing needs, logistics of paperwork, shipping, financial processing, budget, design and production, promotion, and execution while managing project delivery elements within timeframe
  • When needed, help to organize facilities and manage all event’s details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material etc for regional team members requesting assistance
  • Ensures compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
  • Understands how event marketing works in order to cross check messaging and details for a successful event
  • Owns and manages pre, during and post event strategy plan in alignment with stakeholder
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality
  • Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
  • Conduct pre- and post – event evaluations and report on outcomes
  • Research market, identify event opportunities and generate interest 
  • Manage external event assisting agency if required for in-region sports partnership motion
  • Sales (RVPs, Field, Inside, Channel)
  • Global Marketing (includes Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Managers, Communities, Events, Partner Programs and Communications)
  • Product Evangelist Organization
  • Product Development
  • Platform team KPI
  • Delivery of quality events 
  • Delivery on target set for event

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Must have at least 5 years of relevant working experience planning, managing and executing online and offline events  
  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to event management
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, proactive, reliable, detail oriented, strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities in a high frequency environment 
  • Ability to assimilate product knowledge
  • Willingness to travel
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish/English is preferable but not mandatory
  • CMP Certified is preferable
  • Available to come into the Burlington office as needed to fulfill job
  • Strong internal customer focus with desire to learn all aspects of the business
  • High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high-level of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills
  • Team-player and positive attitude, eager to do more and help out, views challenging situations as opportunities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Passion and commitment to succeed by working hard and never giving up
