Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Vice President of Partnerships will accelerate growth and value creation across Zola Suite's partnership ecosystem through oversight of all Zola Suite channel partners, including P and L responsibility and functional operations related to sales, marketing, operations, and customer success.

You will be a strategist and holistic thinker, who can design, build, and deliver innovative solutions for various ongoing needs of the Partnership Team. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the senior executive team to ensure the broader company objectives are met.

Requirements

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with Chief Strategy Officer to build, define, and deliver the partner strategy in alignment with the overall GTM strategy
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, account management and client support teams to build a fully integrated ecosystem that enables our partners to more effectively sell and support cutting edge cloud software for legal professionals.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the partnership team with a willingness to lead by example
  • Enable a success-oriented, partner and client centric environment and provide day-to-day leadership that mirrors the strategy, mission and core values of the company.
  • Develop strategic insight as to the direction of practice management and document automation solutions in the legal industry and the evolving role of the consultant to effectively steer strategy and identify expansion opportunities
  • Cultivate deep partnership relationships and develop custom GTM strategies that drive revenue growth and retention
  • Oversee the development and execution of a robust communications plan to ensure partners and prospective partners are engaged and empowered to support AbacusNext products
  • Improve operational efficiency, creating processes and adopting solutions that will allow us to scale as our partner community grows
  • Provide regular performance reports to the senior leadership team


Leadership Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to channel partners and their business objectives
  • An ownership mentality with an entrepreneurial approach, including comfort with intelligent risk taking
  • Strong remote team leadership qualities. Ability to work independently and across many time zones.
  • Experience mentoring team members as well as helping them set and achieve goals for growth in their careers. This includes regular one on one meetings as well as the creation of formal performance evaluations and action plans
  • Willingness to teach, coach, and demonstrate proficiency in the partnership lifecycle of for improved outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to foster strong relationships with executive-level leaders


Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant business experience
  • 3+ years of experience with high growth SaaS revenue channel partnerships
  • 3+ years of experience in a general management role or having relevant P and L responsibility leading Sales, Marketing, or Business Operations teams
  • Legal, accounting, or document automation industry knowledge is preferred
