Establishes and implements short and long-term departmental goals and objectives. Provides strategic leadership to a mid-level managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Directs and leads the department in its strategic plan; monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness.
  • Defines and implements programs for the department.
  • Ensures quality and effectiveness of the programs through statistical research reporting.
  • Works collaboratively with organizational leaders throughout the enterprise.
  • Manages and supervises designated staff.
  • Creates environment for growth and development of each staff member.
  • Provides strategic leadership to mid-level managers through delegation and coaching.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.


Certifications:

  • None required.


Complexity of Work:

  • Requires to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Work Experience:

  • Ten years directly relevant experience to include three years demonstrated management or project management experience in a community outreach environment.
  • Health care experience preferred.


Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking and sitting.
  • Normal or corrected vision.
  • Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.


Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
