Responsibilities

Primary Responsibility:

Manage the ERP reporting and functional teams for the implementation of ERP in all current and future regions. This will be a greenfield implementation of the latest version of ERP

Essential Functions:
• Manages dedicated ERP team (functional, technical, and reporting areas) • Develop ERP practice solutions and methodologies.• Responsible for managing workload of team members for the implementation of ERP in all regions. • Lead change management initiatives, partnering with Finance, implementation partner and other functional areas to develop and execute on transformation and integration strategies for the implementation of ERP• Work with all areas of IT for integration of data into and out of ERP• Oversee the project quality assurance process for the project• Evaluate accounting processes, including time to close, PO process, and sales to revenue bookings processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved cycle time• Manage/lead implementation partner in all areas of ERP deployment • Perform as counselor and coach for ERP solution implementation.• Perform annual reviews and consistent feedback for each of the team members. • Work directly with the software vendor and service providers for issue resolution and implementation of functionality.• Present status and project plan as required to the IT and finance staff.• Other duties as requested

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.• 7 to 10 years of relevant functional and technical ERP experience required.• Experience leading global implementations of ERP across multiple regions• Accounting/Finance (including budgeting, forecasting and analysis) and appropriate technical background preferred

Knowledge and Experience:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.• Knowledge of transportation and warehouse industries preferred• Demonstrated planning, task organizing and execution skills.• Ability to work in team-oriented environment.• Working knowledge of software design technologies, best practices, etc.• Working knowledge of applicable hardware platforms.• Strong customer service skills and proven ability to work with both internal and external customers at all levels.• Knowledge of SOX Compliance/ SDLC processing. • Ability to communicate with developers, DBAs and vendor. • Strong analytical and communications skills. • Strong technical writing ability. • SQL knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
• Requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions• Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching, or bending• Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work • Talking, hearing, and seeing are important elements of completing assigned tasks• May require travel by automobile and airplane up for business• May require a visit to facility operations in temperatures at or below freezing• May carry loads related to travel and occasionally lifts, carries, positions, or moves objects weighing up to 20 pounds• Requires the use of various electronic tools • Requires the ability to relate to others beyond giving and receiving instructions: must partner with colleagues without exhibiting behavioral extremes• Requires the performance of work activities including reasoning, negotiating, instructing, persuading, or speaking with others; and respond appropriately to constructive feedback from executive management
