WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE
The CTO, North America PC Services will be responsible to shift from advisory dependency to RNA ownership for North America PortCo services. They will increase BX strategic alignment, technology adoption and collaboration for North America PortCos. The CTO, North America PC Services will Improve RNA overall technology engagement model with all North America PortCos.
HOW YOU ADD VALUE
- Serve as executive technology liaison to RNA technology for BX North America PortCos
- Increase strategic alignment, technology adoption and collaboration and for North America PortCos
- Restructure, simplify and rebrand CHEF collaborative framework
- Ongoing ownership, evolution and training of new RNA technology collaborative framework
- Improve RNA technology coverage, consistency and engagement model with North America PortCos
- Oversight and tracking of required BX programs, with evidence-based audits of progress
- Perform IT Diagnostics, both initial and subsequent, for PortCos
- Perform IT Roadmap definition and readout, as needed and fit-for-purpose based on the maturity of PortCo
- Mergers & acquisitions technology due diligence and PortCo onboarding support
- Increase awareness and adoption of syndicated technologies across North America
- Provide guidance or assignment, as needed, to engage 3 rd party technology vendors to execute technology roadmaps
- Deliver status reporting of North America PortCo technology roadmap progress and other critical BX
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with PortCos at the senior levels of the organization, building trust and supporting their needs and priorities, serving as the main point of contact for the Revantage IT organization
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the company's business and related technology architecture
- Lead SLA Management process for PortCos, collaborate with internal teams to track and report as well as foster continual process improvements
- Lead monthly Technology Services Review with RNA-supported PortCos, collaborate with internal teams on content creation and delivery to ensure the IT team exceeds the PortCo's expectations
- Serve as a point of escalation to help resolve PortCo issues and serve as a bridge between the PortCo and Revantage for escalated technology issue resolution
- Organize and conduct quarterly PortCo CIO/CTO calls for BXRE North America
- Participate in Technology Strategy planning with the PortCo, provide and collaborate on insights into technology innovations and trends in the real estate market
- Drive the development, management and periodic review of strategic technology roadmaps (2-year view)
- Evaluate and assess the impact of the ongoing transformation within the IT organization, and establish a vision and strategy moving forward for IT to be aligned with and an enabler of the business strategy.
- Contribute to, as needed, technology updates to PortCo board book and board materials
- Partner with the PortCo on the overall Demand Management process, collaborate on business case development for new technology initiatives, presenting to the Demand Board for review and approval, and providing oversight, guidance and updates through implementation
- Identify and resolve business problems with processes and insights to translate into actionable solutions; develop a technology roadmap and design, iterating on those designs based on PortCo feedback, user research, technology constraints and market dynamics
- Lead collaboration across PortCo technology leaders to identify, document and pursue opportunities to fill like requirements with common solutions
- Execute and delivery of technology initiatives with PortCo and internal team, including leadership of RFP process and required technology vendor management
- Work with internal teams and PortCo to design products and solutions that meet PortCo's needs
- Supervise and lead one or more technology-focused staff members with specialty within their supported asset class(es)
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Required:
- Bachelor's in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of technology experience, preferably reaching CTO/CIO level, including 5 years of people management
- A proven track record of using data and technology to capitalize on business opportunities
- Experience in developing and leveraging a data and analytics capability within the business
- Real Estate industry expertise and understanding of competitive landscape
- Ability to influence others without direct authority is critical
- Demonstrated experience building relationships as a liaison between technology team and clients
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Capacity to work within complex systems and large data sets
- A desire to be a part of and help grow a great team and organization
- The passion to learn, grow, and help us to improve our business and that of our clients
Preferred:
- 3 years of managing client relationships and engagement
- Global IT leadership experience
- Experience leading data and analytics delivery
