Overview
The Business Support Manager will lead a team that manages strategic business initiatives for the department. The Manager ensures review of work is in alignment with the strategic plan and monitors key business metrics and project plan milestones. The Manager conducts project evaluations, designs team systems and procedures, conducts work simplification and measurement studies, and prepares operations, process, and procedures to assist the team and management in support of fulfilling strategic objectives efficiently and effectively.
Job Description

  • Lead a team providing business support to departmental business units.
  • Develop and maintain performance reporting for strategic priorities in accordance with established deadlines
  • Provide regular verbal and written reports to management on strategic priorities being supported
  • As part of strategic initiative may evaluate associated procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis
  • Ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures
  • Gather and organize information on problems or procedures
  • Partner with business leadership to deliver information to meet plans and strengthen operations
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures
  • Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 5 years' experience in one or a combination of, business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
  • Bachelors in business administration or related degree preferred
  • Ability to work with data, spot trends and draw conclusions
  • Broad understanding of technology's strategic role and impact
  • Project or Program Management professional
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concept, practices & procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Performs a variety of tasks
  • Highly proficient in use of G-Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
