Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Bid Management Specialist. This position offers a flexible remote and office work schedule arrangement and can be located in Philadelphia, PA, Denver, CO; Chelmsford, MA ; Miami, or Tampa, FL; Austin, Dallas, or Houston, TX; Los Angeles, CA; Cleveland, OH; Arlington, VA - 3101 Wilson Blvd; New York, NY; Washington, DC.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Proposal and presentation writing and production
  • Able to lead medium to mid-size proposal/SOQs, task orders for public/Federal clients, including knowledge of SF330 responses
  • Contributes to and leads Go /No Go and green light analysis in partnership with capture managers, updates CRM data as needed to maintain accuracy
  • Contributes to pre-RFP proposal planning, applying win plan, messaging and discriminators in deliverables.
  • Able to initiate, set up meetings for data calls, status calls for the team, including reviews, may include initiating agenda drafts working with capture leader.
  • Able to Develop compliance matrices, identify required items and create proposal plan and schedules with attention to review milestones, production/delivery and interview.
  • Develops drafts and organizes narratives and sections for experience, people, executive summaries or cover letters. Able to develop section content plan/ templates to guide writers
  • Organizes for, and manages content for reviews (e.g. Pink/Red), managers the recovery of comments and finalization of documents and compliance
  • Demonstrates an ability to communicate within multi-disciplinary team, providing clear direction or guidance, use of collaboration tools.
  • Proven organizational skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule
  • Demonstrated clear and regular communication with a team, uses meeting best practices, leads kick-off, check in calls, agendas
  • Initiates and coordinates with subcontractors and gather data required and provide guidance.
  • Uses AECOM internal systems and data systems to gather information for people, projects or BL information, or professional development.
  • Collaborates with graphic designer or perform layout of document, such as final and edits layout in Word, InDesign, or other programs, and follows branded templates and coordinates final production

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS, preferably in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing or a related field
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience collaborating within a regional marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity with key client and strategic pursuits in support of winning work, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 5+ years of experience collaborating within a regional marketing team to lead and/or support proposal activity with key client and strategic pursuits in support of winning work, or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • A developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
  • Working knowledge of and interest in the A/E industry, including AECOM's projects, people, credentials, and competitors.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and toolsas related to proposal management of RFQ/P responses.

  • Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
  • Company Relocation is not available for this position.
  • Limited travel to meet training and project requirements may be required, provided safe to do so.

  • Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is: $53,427 to $93,497
