The major tasks, duties, and responsibilities of this role include:
  • Help develop, refine and implement our aftermarket supply chain strategy. This shall include people, processes, and systems.
  • Establish and refine a global and regional procurement operating model
  • Craft category sourcing strategies across spend categories and implementation of same across the region
  • Create a roadmap for year-on-year improvement in spend across the spend categories for Service and Aftermarket.
  • Drive adherence to the Carrier Excellence program
  • Partner with our Growth, Product Management team, and Engineering for NPIs, Increased FAPness and LCM opportunities
  • Execute risk management assessments
  • Assist in the budget planning for the overall Service team
  • As an active member of the GPO leadership team, you will also be responsible to provide career development, performance management, and mentorship.

Requirements - Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
  • Education and Training: Bachelor's degree required/Masters preferred in business administration, engineering, or operations management, or other similar fields
  • 10+ years in procurement leadership, working with cross-functional teams and managing large global teams
  • Experience in project management
  • Expertise in driving large-scale procurement transformations
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and planning skills to optimize and drive efficiency
  • Experience in supplier negotiations and management
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
