About the Role
You are responsible for designing the business process and systems testing strategy, methodology, and playbook. This is a high visibility and critical function to ensure that all operations functions are set up to the highest standards in all the regions we operate. You will report to the Head of Expansion & Transformation.
Key responsibilities:
- Review and document all operational processes to map out main use cases and edge cases.
- Design comprehensive end-to-end testing playbooks for each operational function (e.g., onboarding, AML, payments, customer support).
- Create detailed test cases, focusing on both standard use cases and potential failure scenarios.
- Collaborate with operations, product, and technology teams to ensure that all edge cases and unique customer journeys are covered in testing.
- Lead and execute region-wide testing initiatives to validate the effectiveness of operational processes and system functionalities.
- Identify system and process gaps through testing and provide actionable feedback for improvements.
- Track and report testing outcomes, ensuring all issues are logged, categorized, and followed up for resolution.
- Create a knowledge base of test scenarios and results to continuously improve the testing process.
- Support cross-functional teams in preparing for go-live operations through thorough pre-launch testing.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in process or systems testing
- Strong understanding of operational workflows and process optimization.
- Experience creating end-to-end test cases and playbooks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in executing testing procedures.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report testing results and collaborate with various teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous relevant experience in fintech companies, showcasing knowledge of industry-specific practices and challenges.
- Knowledge of automation tools and testing frameworks is a plus.
