Diageo Dunwin: Diageo Dunwin is our Canada Supply Chain Headquarters and home to our Ontario keg retail and distribution operations where we supply kegs of Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, and Kilkenny to licensees across the province. The site distributes and returns 90,000 kegs per year across 1,800 customers.

With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.
It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.
About the role:
The Operations Supervisor role is directly responsible for operational leadership and execution of keg warehousing, distribution (incl. returns), and draft line servicing for Ontario. This role has 15+ direct reports of drivers, service technicians, and warehouse clerks. Expected time allocation for role is 75% site based and 25% field based.
Key Accountabilities & Outputs
Health, Safety & Compliance
· Maintain a safe work environment by promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and leading corrective actions to achieve zero Lost Time Accidents (LTAs).
· Ensure operational activities, fleet operations, and technical service activities are conducted in compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and safe work practices.
· Ensure beverage line cleaning and technical service activities are completed to schedule and quality standards, maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service & Distribution Performance
· Deliver exceptional customer service by achieving 98.5% On Time/In Full (OTIF) performance through effective planning, execution, and monitoring of distribution activities.
· Manage daily load planning and execution to ensure the efficient and timely movement of products while meeting service, safety, and cost objectives.
· Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and contractors to ensure service, compliance, and operational performance expectations are achieved.
Transportation, Fleet & Asset Management
· Continuously improve route design, scheduling, and network performance to enhance service levels and reduce operating costs.
· Maintain operational assets, including fleet vehicles, warehouse equipment, and site infrastructure, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation.
People Leadership & Labor Management
· Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee development.
· Manage employee performance through clear expectations, regular feedback, recognition, and corrective action to drive engagement, accountability, and results.
· Develop and manage labor schedules and workforce deployment to ensure staffing levels support operational requirements, cost control, and customer service objectives.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
· Drive continuous improvement by engaging employees in identifying opportunities to improve safety, service, productivity, quality, and cost performance.
· Support and implement strategic business transformation initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
Business Support & Stakeholder Management
· Provide operational and technical support for business initiatives, customer programs, product launches, and other ad hoc requirements.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure operational priorities are aligned with business objectives and customer requirements.
Experience / skills required:
· Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience is required.
· Ideally minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in Logistics, Warehouse or Operations preferably in the best in class manufacturing environment with GMPs and/or a highly regulated industry or an equivalent of experience including education.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
