Job Description

The Operations Project Manager is critical to ensuring the seamless execution of the Operations strategy within Vuori. This role combines project management, process improvement, and technology implementation skills to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the Operations group. This role will work cross functionally with departments while managing projects & timelines, assist with executive presentations, drive process improvement, and develop procedures and standards The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a focus on improving processes, implementing new technologies, and managing change. 

Qualifications

What you'll get to do:

  • Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives for Operations. Drive and support projects to completion on time and within budget, resulting in improved operational efficiencies and enhanced team performance. Additionally, partner with the Technology team to support and execute technology implementations where Operations support is required to ensure smooth integration and efficient user adoption. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and optimize existing operational processes to increase productivity and reduce costs. Implement process changes that lead to measurable improvements in quality, speed, and overall operational effectiveness. 
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities. Provide actionable insights that lead to informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. 
  • Change Management: Support change management activities in partnership with Change Management to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies. Achieve high levels of engagement and minimize resistance to change, leading to sustained improvements in operational performance. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Facilitate effective collaboration among departments including Technology, Planning, Production, Product Development, Materials, Merchandising, Calendar, Design, and Finance. Ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives, resulting in cohesive strategies and improved inter-departmental coordination.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs on process improvement methodologies and tools. Empower team members with the skills and knowledge to drive continuous improvement, leading to a culture of innovation and operational excellence. 
  • Reporting: Create and present project documentation, reports, and presentations that clearly communicate project progress, outcomes, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership. Ensure transparency and alignment, leading to informed decision-making and successful project outcomes. 

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, operations, or process improvement roles, preferably within a retail and/or apparel environment. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large data sets and draw actionable insights. 
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). 
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau). 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. 
  • Experience with change management principles and practices.

The salary range for this role is $110,000 per year - $130,000 per year.
