ABOUT THE ROLE
The role of the Operations Manager is to manage the on‐boarding process and customer service relationship for Windcave merchant services customers in Europe. Lead, assist and support regulatory compliance, risk and audit.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing Merchant Services On‐boarding
- Manage all operational aspect of merchant services including pre-sales support, settlement reconciliation, billing check, reporting and other tasks when assigned
- Make sound merchant application decisions based on credit checks and quality analysis
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist Enterprise customers with custom reporting and analysis
Maintaining detailed records of follow up activities
- Work efficiently, accurately and consistently to defined processes
- Monitor and evaluate existing merchant service accounts to ensure they meet the terms of application.
- To carry out Analysis and Reporting related to schemes , merchant, business and other adhoc reporting as required.
Compliance
- Maintain a good working knowledge of Scheme and compliance rules and processes
- Lead, assist and support regulatory compliance, risk and audit.
- Identify, develop, and recommend or implement process improvements
Documentation, Training and Mentoring
- Assist where required with hiring, training, and updating documentation/training materials.

Key Requisites
Educational Qualifications
Mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree in business/Finance or relevant discipline
- 5 years of experience working in similar acquiring or merchant services role in payments industry or other financial services
Preferred
- An accounting certificate or qualification would be an advantage but not mandatory
Special Skills/Competencies
Mandatory
- Strong customer service attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- To be motivated and a self-starter
- Experience deploying acquiring solutions and PSP in the European market to merchants or working with e-commerce / POS clients
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Prior experience in a related role
- Proven experience working with payment merchants (Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay etc)
