The primary role of the Project Manager is to support the planning and coordination of group projects, mostly focusing on finance and operations-related tools. The chosen candidate will also support the Finance department and the Group Head of Operational Projects with administrative tasks, the preparation of reports and the updating of guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Support the Group Head of Operational Projects in driving the firm's new finance project to ensure the efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Collaborate with other departments within the Group, in order to ensure that the project results in a positive contribution to the firm and the stakeholders' day-to-day working practices
- Assist the Finance department with the maintenance of the financial tool that is implemented
- Support the Group Head of Operational Projects with ad hoc projects, and assist with the enhancement of the firm's online tools and systems to better cater for staff and client requirements.
- Assist in the development and updating of standard operating procedures and guidelines for financial and operational activities, maintaining consistency and quality standards across the organisation
- Review working practices to ascertain their success, and recommend alternative solutions when needed
- Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and systems to continuously improve efficiency
- Support the Group Head of Operational Projects and the Finance department with administrative tasks
Qualifications
- 3 years' + experience in project management accounts, or administration within corporate environments
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in accounts
- Masters or an advanced degree will be considered as an advantage
- Proven track record of successfully improving the quality standards of processes and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Proficient level of English and Maltese
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
