In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Approve and manage Firewall Change Requests (FCA), ensuring compliance with strict company standards.
- Oversee the operation of our Firewall management tool, including configuration and optimization.
- Train and manage external team members to undertake FCA, maintaining high-quality service delivery within agreed SLA parameters.
- Act as a pivotal figure in projects concerning Firewall, IPS/IDS or Remote Access services, ensuring successful implementation and operation.
- Maintain expertise in network Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technologies and IPS/IDS from leading vendors.
- Participate in network design and planning, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Document procedures and services as needed for clear communication and compliance.
- Support business teams with Security guardrails with configuration policies which are based on ABB Network Security standards.

Qualifications for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of Networks and NGFW technologies.
- Proficiency in managing Firewall and VPN technologies.
- Proficient knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to manage client requests, navigate complex situations, and maintain composure during challenging client interactions.
- Networking knowledge at a CCNP level.
- Exposure to various technologies including firewall, IPS, VPN, SWG (proxy), WAF, Network Security Policy Management tools and DDoS protection.
- Experience working with global OEMs such as Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, AKAMAI, Zscaler, NetSkope, Algosec etc.
- 10+ years of Information/Network Security experience where between 3-4 years must be in Firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco or Palo Alto) and Network Security policy management
- Good to have working knowledge on Cisco SNA and Algosec.
- Include required languages, licenses, or visa info where applicable.
