Job Description

The Operations Support Manager provides essential operational, administrative, and analytical support to the European Region. This role ensures smooth execution of regional operations strategies, assists in process implementation, and coordinates cross-country operational activities. The position acts as a key liaison between country operations teams and the regional head office, driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key user, training provider and support for regional IT systems (e.g., Discos, PointOut, Tagetik).
  • Assist in implementing regional operations standards and processes in alignment with group guidelines.
  • Support inventory management, order processing, and yard operations through data analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality for offers, orders, returns, and inventory levels.
  • Support the coordination of material demand forecasting and resource planning with country operations teams.
  • Supports active communication (conversation culture, regular feedbacks, problem-solving, decision-making, presentation)
  • Support the preparation and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for Yard, CMO, and Inventory to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support monthly closing activities for operations-related tasks across all countries in the region.
  • Assist in cost center and investment planning, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

Process & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to corporate processes, standards, and local regulations (work safety, environmental compliance).

Communication & Coordination

  • Support communication with the Head of Operations and country operations teams.
  • Facilitate staff development programs and onboarding processes for new operations employees.
  • Provide short-term training and operational support to country offices and branches when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management or leadership role within operations.
  • Scaffolding industry experience or experience in a similar industrial or construction-related sector is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken), additional languages advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of operations processes, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams, Strong people skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align operations with business goals.
  • Ambitious, performance-oriented, and committed to driving continuous improvement.
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss.
  • Experience of managing inventories, finances, operations, or strategies.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
