Operations Manager - IT: This role belongs to the 'IT Infrastructure Operations' job family. This family encompasses roles that manage, monitor, support, run, and upgrade processes and systems for one or multiple Digital Products with Quality and within Time.
Job Description:
As an Operations Manager in IT, you will utilize your deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Linux, Windows server administration, networking, and databases to manage key applications and services running on virtualized and non-virtualized platforms. Your role will be crucial in resolving complex problems, building and improving procedures, and facilitating communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve complex problems related to IT infrastructure and improve procedures for efficient operations.
- Leverage software development and open-source solutions to automate provisioning of services, monitoring, and corrections.
- Embrace agile methodologies to ensure quick resolution of IT issues.
- Craft and document procedures for Level 1 Incident Resolutions and provide self-service capabilities to Application Teams and customers.
- Collaborate with other teams such as Application and Infrastructure and Platform Service Providers during the triage and resolution of incidents.
Job Qualifications
- Btech / Mba
- A minimum of one role with diverse experiences in IT operations is required.
- Demonstrated depth of applied IT skills on one IT job profile.
- Experience in teamwork while demonstrating cultural awareness and a willingness to share insights.
- Ability to define and lead the work necessary to shape team dynamics, organizational culture, or IT practices.
