Your Next Role:
Reporting to the Manager Operations & Engineering, your Position Accountabilities will include:
Production of technical work packs and work scopes including life (limited) information (MHF,DWI, Vol1 and TDR's)
Maintain and gate keep technical documentation flow through the facility, this includes technical packs, work instructions, manuals, data produced and shared to facilitate flow
Conducting audits on Operations’ and engineering processes
Lead incident investigations and drive improvement projects for issues such as but not limited to customer escapes, internal escapes and tooling/process compliance
Be a point of contact the shop needs for engineering, working with global connections and engineering in Pratt & Whitney Canada to bring timely and thorough resolution to issues
Assist in training of others, for example facilitating boardroom presentations and communication sessions ensuring quality standards continue to improve
Ensure high levels of communication exist to all internal departments to ensure efforts are maximised to enhance operations including being an active part of the ADADR process and action group
Perform other departmental duties as required, including
Taking on dual responsibility for QA Administrator tasks such as
Maintaining tooling and equipment database and calibration records;
Organizing filing system such as folders on server and records in approved databases including maintenance history files.
Maintaining oversight and control of scrap parts including the records for control of aircraft parts integrity/disposal.
Your Qualifications Experience and Skills include:
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or Aviation Management or equivalent significant work experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills with outstanding stakeholder management ability
Intermediate knowledge of the following software: Excel, Power Point, Word, E-mail, Access.
Must be willing to work shift work, occasional overtime, weekend and holiday on-call when required
