Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. Our recipes are developed by leading animal nutritionists, and are made with only real, fresh ingredients... and nothing artificial! We have lofty goals (to make every dog in the country healthier, and every pet parent happier!) and we are looking for the right people to help us get there. Who You Are
You are a detail-oriented, organized person looking for an environment where your work makes a high impact and drives action. You enjoy working with numbers and keeping the wheels turning. You are able to collaborate effectively with both internal teammates and external partners to troubleshoot issues. You enjoy working cross functionally to solve critical business challenges. You are excited about diving into the supply chain and logistics of a fast-growing consumer products startup. In addition to these core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to support various strategic projects related to the goals of the business, like cost reduction, product innovation, or improvements to the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report on operational KPIs (e.g. on-time delivery, order fulfillment accuracy, product quality, customer claims, etc.)
- Work closely with 3PLs on a daily basis to monitor fulfillment operations and problem solve when issues arise
- Monitor product consistency, order accuracy, and other customer claims data and report findings to ops, customer experience, and quality teams
- Manage procurement of fulfillment materials, including owning the data entry, upkeep, and improvement of the inventory management tools to ensure appropriate purchase order timing and quantities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics between our manufacturing plant, suppliers, contract manufacturers, off-site warehousing and 3PL partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations role
- Experience working in Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
- Comfortable working with internal and external partners and stakeholders
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Omni, Looker, PowerBI, Tableau) a plus
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Dog lovers a plus!
This is a hybrid position based in our Midtown Manhattan office. In office presence is required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Hybrid Workspace
Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
Our hybrid policy requires employees to work in-person at our New York office Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Employees are able to work from home on Tuesday and Friday.
