Who we’re looking for:


We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations Associate to join our team! This role will report to our VP of People, Melanie Naranjo, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to various departments within the company, with a primary focus on assisting our CEO with scheduling, helping coordinate internal and external events, and handling select People tasks such as employee onboarding.

Our workforce is fully remote, but please note that this role will require East Coast hours.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, including: scheduling appointments, managing meetings, and booking travel arrangements
  • Assist in planning and executing on miscellaneous events, including: team meetings, client dinners, and company outings
  • Support admin for People function, including but not limited to: employee onboarding, maintaining employee records, and managing HR-related documentation
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as drafting emails, preparing meeting decks, and facilitating company purchases
  • Handle inquiries and requests from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across departments

What makes a great candidate:

  • Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated track record with scheduling, or what we like to call “strategic scheduling”
  • Experience coordinating in-person events, especially large dinner reservations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
  • A “roll up your sleeves” mentality and comfort with ambiguity
  • An entrepreneurial mindset — we’re an early-stage startup, so we’re not looking for someone to simply run a playbook; we want you to help build it
