Operations AnalystKey Responsibilities
• Develop and distribute standardized daily reporting for operational leadership, including bookings, shipments, backlog, production levels, and other key performance indicators.
• Consolidate, validate, and maintain capital project tracking files, including historical project data used for post-audits and executive-level reporting.
• Collect, organize, and analyze cost-savings initiatives across facilities; support clear quarterly reporting for leadership review.
• Coordinate the collection and distribution of month-end revenue projections, ensuring inputs are complete, accurate, and delivered on schedule.
• Prepare monthly bookings, shipments and backlog reporting by consolidating facility inputs, validating key metrics, and ensuring leadership has the information needed for effective discussion and decision-making.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for functional leaders, providing visibility into pricing, freight, warehousing, inventory, back charges, expense/absorption, and overall performance trends.
• Support plant teams with reporting file maintenance, reporting tool setup, training, ad hoc data requests, and analysis to improve reporting consistency and efficiency.
• Partner with quality and operations leaders to expand cost-of-quality reporting and improve visibility into rework, waste, and other performance opportunities.
• Track operational incentive plan performance and accruals, providing concise summaries, variance explanations, and follow-up support as needed.
• Coordinate plant-level meetings and leadership report-outs, ensuring materials are accurate, professional, and completed on time.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 4 - 6 years of experience in operations accounting or finance, business analytics, manufacturing analytics, or a related role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data validation, and the ability to work confidently with large datasets.
• Demonstrated experience building recurring reports, dashboards, or analytics tools with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
