As an Operations Analyst for Supply Chain Perioperative Services at Cleveland Clinic, you will partner with surgical units to deliver data-driven insights across operational resources, systems, budgets, and workflows. You will support procedure card optimization and help advance perioperative supply chain strategy within a world-class, patient centered healthcare organization. A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule at Main Campus Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must have flexibility to float to additional CCF locations.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Conduct in-depth statistical analysis and evaluation of current and proposed operational unit services and performance.
- Identify programs/service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact.
- Serve as technical resource in the analysis and evaluation of the operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units as related to departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs. Interprets and presents data analysis results including explanation of statistical and financial techniques used, assumptions made and summary of results.
- Assist with the development of operational plans, procedures, and systems; reviews and evaluates current procedures and systems and develops recommendations for improvement and/or change.
- Participate in, or lead, workstream to drive supply standardization or implementation
- Support sustainment and maintenance of various elements of the preference card, procedure card, or periop strategy and systems overall
- Identify, present, or collaborate on any value analysis or waste reduction opportunities that fall within the scope of the periop team strategy or goals
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative Caregivers on all levels to work towards a common goal of standardization and efficient workflow in the periop environment
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field and two years experience with demonstrated knowledge of applied statistics and financial analysis with a quantitative focus or Associates Degree and four years experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Analytical mindset
- Operations background
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
