The Operations Analyst team is responsible for monitoring and supporting collection and production requirements for Vantor’s core programs. In this role, you will help ensure program requirements are met by monitoring operational performance, identifying potential risks and issues, and supporting standard operating and mitigation processes. You will assemble and analyze operational performance data, assess outcomes against program objectives, communicate status and impacts to key stakeholders, and provide insights to support short and long-term operational strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor changes in global collection demands, collection and production performance in support of Vantor business requirements.
• Detect operational challenges and potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and escalate issues as needed to team management and technical support teams.
• Manage internal tasking decks in support of 2D/3D product strategy and revenue enablement and support specialized requirements for live demonstrations and tasking requirements.
• Orchestrate daily operations with cross-functional teams to ensure product fulfillment from satellite collection through processing and delivery of imagery.
• Create visualizations, status reports, dashboards, and reporting metrics to depict performance and track key performance indicators for customers and products.
• Facilitate performance-related communication with team members, cross-departmental staff, and internal customers regarding status, milestones, issues, and resolutions.
• Perform order requirement assessments to determine collection feasibility and access visibility using various in-house tools.
• Manage deadlines, prioritize workloads, and take initiative on actions required to support teams.
• Provide support outside regular business hours, as required, to support a 24/7 Operations environment.

  Minimum Qualifications:   

• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in project analysis, program support, production operations, mission operations, or a related field.

• Experience working with GIS software, database querying, scripting languages.

Preferred Qualifications:   

• Familiarity with orbital mechanics, remote sensing products and applications.  

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux environments. 

• Experience creating dashboards, visualizations, and performance reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Experience developing or improving standard operating procedures, mitigation processes, or operational workflows.

Pay Transparency: To support pay transparency, Vantor includes salary ranges in all U.S. job postings. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
