Coface Bucharest Shared Services Center - a constantly growing team of young and enthusiastic experts, covers daily various processes and roles for Coface entities in several countries.
We have multiple teams of specialists, speaking French, English, German, Italian, Spanish and Romanian, responsible for running internal client operations at the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Job DescriptionPerforms General Accounting daily operational activities based on the Services Level Agreement signed with other Coface entities:
- Accounts Payable postings (invoices, payments, master data) and reconciliations
- Accounts Receivable activities (invoicing, bank posting and recs)
- Expenses reports management
- FA activities (management of FA, depreciation, retirement of FA, etc)
- Posting Journal Entries
- Monthly and quarterly reconciliations
- Chart of accounts maintenance
- Perform back-up for other colleagues
- Business correspondence on accounting areas in scope
Reports on accounting activities to SSC management and the serviced country.
Is accountable for operations’ accuracy and quality regarding statutory and Group rules and standards.
Ensures that all activities performed at any time by himself/herself or her/his colleagues under his/her watch respect Coface integrity, security and reputation, by following all internal rules and controls in his/her scope of activity.
Ad hoc activities:
Participates in the creation / update of Finance Standard Operating Procedures used by the SSC operational teams.
Participates in project work (e.g. lean & optimization topics)
Participates to functional & cross-functional meetings (when required) and shares feedback and regular contact with functional finance team
Qualifications‣ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or related
‣ Microsoft Office knowledge
‣ Good knowledge of accounting processes
‣ Good communication and collaboration skills
‣ Good organizational skills
‣ Demonstrates high reliability and self-motivation
‣ Ability to deal with numerous deadlines simultaneously / Multi-tasking
Languages :
‣ Fluency in spoken and written English (B2/C1)
Experience:
‣ Experience in an accounting department minimum; preferred 2-3 years
‣ Experience in trade credit insurance industry is a plus
‣ Experience in an international environment preferred
