Job DescriptionThis is a two‑year fixed‑term position
The Accountant will be able to perform numerous activities, including but not restricted to :
‣ Intercompany activities : reconciliation, invoices
‣ Perform AP payments and Bookings
‣ Perform Master Data Management activities for accounting systems
‣ Perform Tax and regulatory reporting
‣ Post accounting vouchers/ bank statements
‣ Perform broker invoicing
‣ Support Fixed Asset Accounting
‣ Perform reconciliations between sub- and main-ledger
‣ Various reconciliations for booking accounts
‣ Accounts Receivables booking for intercompany entities
Ad hoc activities (specific to the SSC structure launch):
- Participates in the creation / update of Finance Standard Operating Procedures used by the SSC operational teams.
- Is accountable for operations’ accuracy and quality regarding statutory and Group rules and standards
- Participates in project work (e.g. lean & optimization topics)
- Participates to functional & cross-functional meetings (when required) and shares feedback and regular contact with NER functional finance team
- Potential evolution to other opportunities within the company
- Good knowledge of accounting processes
- Good communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Independent worker and team player
- Ability to deal with numerous deadlines simultaneously / Multi-tasking
- Familiarity and ease with varying IT and online software and applications
- Knowledge of local GAAP is a plus (Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden)
- Basic knowledge of major internal control procedures
English level requiered : C1
