Job Description

Join U.S. Bank's Independent Risk Review & Assessment (IRRA) team and play a key role in evaluating operational risks, controls, and processes across a leading financial institution. You'll partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business teams to identify risks, provide independent challenge, and help drive meaningful improvements.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct independent reviews of operational risk processes and controls.
  • Identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to strengthen risk management practices.
  • Support review activities from planning and fieldwork through reporting and issue validation.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Risk, Audit, Compliance, Controls, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of operational risk management and financial services.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, CAMS, CRCM, etc.) are a plus.

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
