Lead a KYC Maker team, managing onboarding and renewals for global corporate clients while driving process excellence and stakeholder partnership.
As KYC Production Manager - Vice President within the WKO New Business Global Corporate Bank (GCB) Maker team, aligned to a designated Client type maker team, you will oversee a team of Production KYC Makers or new customers and incremental business on-boarding alongside scheduled renewals of our existing customers. You will build rapport with our internal and external stakeholders to ensure the KYC aspect of the Client experience is efficient and smooth. Working with our Operational partners you will manage expectations on turnaround timeframes and provide appropriate updates on the progress of all KYC records within the team’s book of work.
Job responsibilities
- Manage the teams New Business pipeline and Renewals schedule for your designated Client category to prioritise active requests, provide status updates and ensure timely completion of KYC renewals
- Build and develop strong partnerships, identify challenges and eliminate roadblocks with all internal partners
- Manage the team to ensure all information to and from our Clients is accurate, complete and compliant with AML, Local and Corporate Due Diligence requirements
- Manage workload management - Coordinate case prioritization, capacity planning, and assignment from our Business aligned Middle Office teams
- Escalate key risks/issues to senior management
- Stay up to date of any changes to processes and procedures, regulatory change and ensure impacts are communicated to our business partners
- Identify and execute process improvements (global and team level), provide guidance and support on key process and technology initiatives to the business
- Set clear direction and drive for high performance by inspiring team members
- Be responsible to foster collaboration and cohesiveness
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills with experience of conflict resolution
