The Operational Governance Senior Analyst will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organisation's Operational Resilience framework, ensuring compliance with UK regulatory expectations (FCA/PRA) and Lloyd's market requirements, alongside supporting the outsourcing and third-party risk management framework across all critical third parties, in line with SS2/21.
 
The role will contribute to embedding resilience and robust third-party governance across important business services, third-party dependencies, and operational processes, ensuring the business can prevent, respond to, and recover from disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
Support implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Operational Resilience framework in line with UK regulatory requirements and Lloyd's Principles.
Assist in identifying and maintaining mapping of Important Business Services and key dependencies, including third parties, to ensure accuracy as the business evolves.
Support key activities within the Operational Resilience cycle, including tracking of vulnerabilities / remedial actions and scenario testing across critical business functions.
Maintain documentation and evidence to demonstrate regulatory compliance.
Contribute to regulatory responses (FCA/PRA/Lloyd's) and audit activity.
Maintenance of Operational Resilience framework and supporting documentation, including policies, logs and supporting production of the annual self-assessment.
Support the Operational Resilience Steering Group, including preparation of papers and packs for review.
Assist with onboarding of syndicates including review of target operating model and set up of third-party arrangements.
Support the ongoing management of the outsourcing and third-party risk management framework, covering all critical third parties.
Track and follow up on ongoing monitoring activity – including performance/SLA review, financial and operational resilience checks on providers, and renewal of due diligence.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience in operational risk, business continuity, operational resilience, or third-party risk management within insurance or financial services.
Understanding of UK regulatory requirements (FCA/PRA Operational Resilience framework, SS1/21) and outsourcing/third-party risk requirements (SS2/21) would be beneficial.
Experience supporting framework implementation and governance processes.
Experience in process mapping and documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.

Skills Required
