  • Ensures that the assigned departments and employees adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations governing processes, products, and employees as well as environmental, health and safety requirements
  • Ensure that manufacturing teams following all company policies and procedures at all times and takes immediate corrective actions when needed e.g. pipetting calibrations, safety training
  • Provide ongoing leadership, support and mentorship of direct reports and department team members
  • Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators and metrics and take countermeasures when necessary to ensure continued attainment of long-term goals and objectives
  • Create and enact plans and projects that support manufacturing’s performance goals, budgets and business strategy
  • Regularly collaborate with leaders of other manufacturing groups, quality control, quality assurance and product development team to achieve company’s goals and meet customer needs
  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology related field
  • More than 5 years of relevant biotechnology work experience
  • More than 3 years of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience

  • PhD or Masters degree in biology related field
  • Working knowledge of equipment and process used in protein purification and conjugation process
  • More than 3 years of working knowledge of GMP and ISO13485 regulations as well as quality management system
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a biology-related field
  • More than 5 years of relevant biotechnology work experience
  • More than 3 years of leadership experience
  • PhD or Master's degree in a biology-related field
  • Working knowledge of equipment and processes used in protein purification and conjugation
