Summary

We are seeking a skilled OpenSearch Specialist to join our team.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing OpenSearch solutions to meet our business needs. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the effective use of OpenSearch for data indexing, search, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement OpenSearch solutions for various use cases.

• Manage and maintain OpenSearch clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate OpenSearch into applications.

• Optimize search queries and indexing strategies for better performance.

• Monitor and troubleshoot OpenSearch issues, providing timely resolutions.

• Implement and manage data pipelines using Logstash.

• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate deployments.

• Deploy and manage various components on Kubernetes clusters.

• Integrate CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Leverage AWS services for scalable and secure OpenSearch deployments.

• Stay updated with the latest OpenSearch features and best practices.

• Provide training and support to internal teams on OpenSearch usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience with OpenSearch or similar search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch).

• Strong understanding of search algorithms, indexing, and query optimization.

• Experience with Logstash for data ingestion and processing.

• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.

• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.

• Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.

• Knowledge of security best practices for search technologies.

• Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools.

Basic wage component (brutto): from 3000 EUR

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 15% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
