ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Office Manager at Talon.One, you'll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly in our Berlin office. This role reports to the Workplace and Community Manager and ensures a seamless office experience and operations in our office.
You will have a key role in making guests, employees and candidates feel welcome in the office. You will cover important tasks like managing the office operations (including beverages and snacks, administration, vendor management, office security, office management expenses, office inventory and storage management).
This is a full-time on-site position (Mon-Fri, 08:30 - 17:30 CET).

The People & Culture team, comprising 10 members from 9 different countries, actively supports nearly 200 Taloners spread across three regions. Our focus spans People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Workplace and Community Management, and People Business Partnering, all aimed at sparking inspiration among candidates, employees, and alumni. ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Welcome visitors warmly, embodying the friendly face of Talon.One
- Offering a great office experience for Talon.One visitors, employees and candidates
- Ensure a clean spotless environment in partnership with our external cleaning team
- Manage the relationship and operations with the building management and office security
- Keep our office and kitchen fully stocked
- Manage all aspects of mail shipping and receiving efficiently
- Be the go-to person for employees and management on all office matters
- Oversee our company apartment's bookings, schedule, and stock for an exceptional visitor experience
- Drive our Employee Health, Safety and Security guidelines
- Participate in Talon.One’s event strategy design, planning and execution
- Keep the Office Expense Budget updated
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- You are fluent in German and English
- You have experience in office management or front desk roles
- You are organized and keep a good inventory of storage
- You have strong communication skills and high attention to detail
- You are a great time manager and very punctual
- You have a valid category B driver's license
- You have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for going the extra mile and an understanding that the small details make a big difference
