As an OEX Intern at our Ciénega de Flores plant, you will support the digitalization of operational documents and process formats to reduce paper usage and enable real-time information access through Power BI dashboards. Your work will focus on analyzing current workflows, proposing automation solutions, and developing interactive dashboards that improve efficiency and visibility across all levels of the plant.
What You’ll Do (Impact Areas)- Conduct process mapping and operational analysis through interviews and field observations to identify digitalization opportunities.
- Design and implement digital solutions using tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, Excel VBA, Python, or Power Apps.
- Collect, clean, and structure data from systems like MFG, SAP, Historian, and Excel to ensure integrity and consistency.
- Develop interactive dashboards in Power BI to visualize KPIs such as cycle times, efficiency, and scrap, and automate report updates.
- Reduced paper-based formats and improved accessibility of operational information.
- Automated workflows and dashboards validated by end-users for clarity and usefulness.
- Reliable, real-time data visualization that supports decision-making at all levels.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
