Position Overview
We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to build and maintain observability platforms that ensure system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has deep experience with tools like ELK and NewRelic, thrives in fast-paced environments, and collaborates across teams to deliver scalable monitoring solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain observability platforms for log aggregation, metrics, and visualization.
- Manage ELK, NewRelic, and other telemetry platforms ensuring high availability and performance.
- Build data pipelines, custom filters, and dashboards aligned with business needs.
- Support Unix/Linux administration, scripting, and container environments.
- Troubleshoot observability issues and collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams.
- Document processes and contribute to system improvements and automation.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in observability platforms (ELK, NewRelic, Splunk, etc.).
- Strong AWS or cloud experience and Unix/Linux administration.
- Expertise in data ingestion, parsing, visualization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with container tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and scripting (Python, shell).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Good to Have
- Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- DevOps' practices, monitoring frameworks, and security integrations.
