Job Summary:
The IT Manager will be responsible for managing the Nuvotronics infrastructure, overseeing the IT systems supporting manufacturing and MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and handling Information Security Management (ISM) duties. Additionally, the role requires expertise in designing IT tools to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, experience in manufacturing environments, and a proven ability to innovate and implement effective IT solutions. This is an on-site position, 9/80 work schedule.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Facility Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of facility-related IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, and telecommunications systems by providing desktop support to Nuvotronics users on all IT infrastructure, network and applications.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that IT infrastructure meets the organization's needs and complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the reliability, security, and scalability of facility infrastructure systems.
ERP, Manufacturing & MRP IT Systems Oversight:
- Manage the implementation, maintenance, and support of IT systems used in manufacturing and other business processes, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to identify IT requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance to support production goals.
Information Security Management (ISM) Duties:
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, procedures, and regulations to safeguard company data and systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security threats. Report findings to business.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing IT processes to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Design and document efficient and standardized IT processes, workflows, and procedures aligned with ITIL best practices and organizational goals.
- Develop and implement security awareness training programs for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
- Hold the Security+ certification (CompTIA)
IT Tools Design and Innovation:
- Support engineering software and hardware needs including specialty software licensing and license servers, PDM and CM access and licensing, and specialized engineering hardware support in coordination with corporate IT infrastructure.
- Lead the design and development of IT tools and solutions to address business challenges and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and oversee the implementation of IT tools.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business value.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred (e.g. ITIL-Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Lean Six Sigma) and 8 years related experience.
- Must be a US citizen, eligible for DoD security clearance.
- Proven experience in IT management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of facility infrastructure technologies, manufacturing processes, and MRP systems.
- Proficiency in information security management practices and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001). Comp TIA /Security+ cert preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement IT solutions that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Cubic Pay Range:
$115,860 – $159,308 + benefits.
The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
