Valley Hospital is a leading Level 4 healthcare facility in Nakuru City providing both inpatient and outpatient services. We are seeking to recruit Locum & Temporary Nursing Officers to join our dynamic team across multiple units; Outpatient, Paediatric, Accident & Emergency, Medical, Surgical Ward, Endoscopy, and Theatre Departments.
The role involves providing compassionate, patient-centered care, supporting recovery, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality nursing services in line with the hospital’s standards and professional ethics.
Requirements
- Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse or Kenya Registered Nurse from a recognized institution.
- Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Valid practising license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
- Must have worked for a minimum period of three (3) years in the unit of interest.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Valid BLS certificate.
- ACLS training and certification an added advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Effective communication skills – listening, oral, and written.
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Strong clinical acumen.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Problem solving, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills.
