Job descriptionThe Engineering team develops the hardware platforms used by our operations teams for field scanning activities.
We are looking for an NPI Engineer to join the team and play a key role in bridging R&D and Supply Chain, leading the transition of products from development to production. In this role you will:
- Take a key part in bringing innovative hardware products from R&D into production.
- Build manufacturing, testing, and quality processes from the ground up.
- Own and optimize the product BOM throughout the product lifecycle.
- Work hands-on with multidisciplinary systems in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Partner with engineers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product introduction and scalability.
- Lead ECO processes and maintain production documentation.
- Define assembly flows, manufacturing files, and production instructions.
- Solve real-world production challenges and improve manufacturability and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as an NPI Engineer.
- Strong proficiency with CAD software, especially SolidWorks.
- Experience working with ECO processes and engineering documentation.
- Familiarity with PDM and ERP systems, preferably 3DEXPERIENCE and NetSuite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with technical writing and documentation.
NIce to Have
- Experience in the manufacturing of multidisciplinary electromechanical products.
- Familiarity with additional CAD software tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in startup or small-company NPI environments.
- Hands-on experience building and implementing NPI processes.
