As an NPD Technologist, you’ll:
- Analyse and consolidate market research and consumer insights to inform product development.
- Pitch concepts to stakeholders, justifying with data, portfolio positioning and alignment with product strategy.
- Brief suppliers on new ingredients, considering technical, operational, regulatory and commercial constraints.
- Formulate new and existing products then taste panel development samples whilst ensuring target nutrition and health claims are met.
- Project manage concepts from ideation through to launch, liaising with procurement, compliance, brand, and creative teams.
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches e.g. marketing channels.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
- Degree in Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field.
- Ideally 1-year experience in NPD, including placement year or other relevant roles.
- Experience/knowledge within the supplements industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of NPD processes, from concept to launch.
- Enthusiastic and proactive, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, across multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Interest in health, wellness, fitness and supplements.
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
