Champion Petfoods is on an exciting journey of growth, with digital transformation at the heart of our strategy. We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic digital leader to shape and execute our digital marketing strategy across the North American market. This role will report to the VP of Market Strategy and Deployment and be responsible for deploying regional campaigns, local partnerships, and activations that align with local market conditions and business objectives.

As a key member of the North America Marketing team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional and global partners to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints—including websites, mobile platforms, social media, and CRM—while tailoring execution for local relevance and impact. You’ll work closely with the Shopper and Sales teams to support seamless implementation, aligned digital activations and prompt consideration with premium dog and cat shoppers. This role requires a self-starter with a strong grasp of consumer behavior, digital platforms, and performance marketing—ideally with experience in consumer goods or pet care.

Key Responsibilities
•Digital Ecosystem Ownership: Lead the strategic development and operational oversight of global brand websites, ensuring optimal UX, SEO performance, and content relevance and governance across markets.
•Media: Collaborate with Global Marketing to develop and optimize paid media plans that support North American business goals. Oversee regional media asset development and performance tracking.

•Partnerships: Own the regional partnerships and communities strategy. Identify and activate relevant partners and influencers to drive brand engagement and reach.
•Content Governance & Localization: Ensure local content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand standards. Provide input into global content development and manage regional customization requests.
•Sales Enablement: Collaborate with the sales teams to provide the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively leverage and align marketing activations to drive retail performance.
•Budget & Resource Management: Oversee local marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation and optimization of resources. Track spend against budgets and provide regular reports on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities.
•Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activations. Provide ongoing reports to the EMEA Regional Marketing Director, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), market feedback, and areas for improvement.
•Digital Innovation: Monitor emerging digital trends, consumer insights, and market dynamics to identify opportunities that elevate the digital brand experience and drive competitive advantage
•Team Culture & Growth Mindset: Foster a collaborative, curious, and creative team culture by building strong internal partnerships and promoting a growth-oriented mindset within Champion and the broader Mars Pet Nutrition Digital community.
