Overview

The Night Receptionist plays a vital operational and service role during the night hours, ensuring smooth overnight operations while preparing the Front Office for the following day. Beyond traditional receptionist duties, this position focuses on department readiness, coordination with the Night Manager / MOD, and maintaining the high standards of guest experience synonymous with Aman.

Responsibilities

• Perform all standard Front Office functions during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest assistance with discretion and professionalism.
• Support the Night Manager in overseeing nightly hotel operations and maintaining guest comfort and safety.
• Review the next day’s arrival list, ensure all registration folders are complete with supporting documents, and confirm room readiness in coordination with housekeeping.
• Prepare all departure files for morning guests, ensuring accuracy in billing, folio presentation, and supporting documentation.
• Check stock levels of stationary, gifts, and amenities; coordinate replenishment requests as needed.
• Pack and prepare guest gifts and welcome amenities for the following day’s arrivals.
• Ensure all printed materials, collateral, and registration folders are neatly arranged and up to standard.
• Assist with guest correspondence, flagging any emails or communication requiring immediate managerial attention.
• Support the Night Auditor by ensuring all required reports, flash updates, and supporting data are accurate and ready for morning review.
• Maintain the reception and back-office areas in pristine condition, ensuring readiness for the morning shift.
• Serve any F&B requests during the night shift in coordination with the kitchen or as per in-room dining procedures.
• Respond promptly to late-night guest inquiries and special requests with grace and efficiency.
• Communicate key overnight updates, guest notes, and operational highlights clearly during morning handover.
• Collaborate closely with the Night Manager to ensure seamless transition and operational continuity
