Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You
Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You are responsible for leading hotel operations overnight, ensuring the safety, security, and satisfaction of our guests while supporting the Front Office team and maintaining smooth hotel operations after hours. As a Night Manager, you’re not just overseeing the hotel during the overnight shift – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by creating a welcoming, safe, and seamless experience for every guest, while providing leadership and support to the team when it matters most.
- Lead the hotel overnight: Take ownership of all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring a safe, efficient, and seamless experience for guests while supporting team members across the property.
- Create exceptional guest experiences: Ensure every guest feels welcome, valued, and cared for by resolving concerns promptly, personalising service, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality throughout the night.
- Coordinate overnight operations: Conduct shift handovers and team briefings, monitor guest arrivals and departures, maintain accurate shift records, and ensure clear communication of any issues requiring follow-up.
- Support and develop the team: Provide leadership and guidance to overnight team members, including Front Office, Porters, Security, Housekeeping and other operational areas, while assisting with training and development.
- Maintain safety and security: Oversee hotel security procedures, conduct regular property checks, manage incident reporting, coordinate emergency responses when required, and ensure a safe environment for guests and team members.
- Complete the night audit: Manage end-of-day financial and operational processes, ensuring reports are completed accurately, systems are balanced, and guest accounts are reconciled to support a smooth start to the next day.
- Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and other teams to ensure service delivery is seamless and operational challenges are resolved efficiently.
